The Walden Chamber Players Young Artist Competition is held annually to promote and encourage young musicians from the greater Boston area interested in the performance and study of chamber music. The winner will perform in a public concert with the Walden Chamber Players and receive a cash prize.

Zlatomir Fung Winner of the Young Artist Competition

Zlatomir Fung, Cello

Zlatomir Fung, cello, is a sixth-grader at Mill Pond School in Westborough, MA. He studies cello with Emmanuel Feldman at the New England Conservatory Preparatory Division and is a member of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra and the String Chamber Orchestra at NEC Prep. Zlatomir is an avid chamber music player and he has been a member of chamber ensembles at both BYSO and NEC Preparatory Division for several years. He looks very much forward to playing more chamber music in summer programs at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Luzerne Music Center, and Greenwood Music Camp.
